Welcome to Kolectif MORInkluSif (Moris Inklusif), an initiative that symbolizes a new era of unity and collaboration in Mauritius for disability inclusion and awareness. This collective journey, a first of its kind in our nation, began with the insightful 3-Day Disability Inclusion Workshop in April 2023. Funded by the Australian Aid Program, this workshop brought together diverse voices to craft a shared vision of inclusivity.

Our mission at Kolectif MORInkluSif is rooted in a simple yet powerful belief: every individual, regardless of their abilities, is an essential part of our society. We strive to normalize the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD) in every facet of Mauritian life, from policy-making to everyday interactions.

For the first time in our history, all stakeholders — associations, NGOs, organizations involved in the disability sector — are joining hands on this platform. It's a monumental step in guaranteeing disability inclusion and raising awareness throughout Mauritius. This initiative is the fruit of a successful Disability Inclusion Campaign, supported by the Australia High Commission's Direct Aid Program, numerous NGOs, and dedicated individuals.
